By train: People usually arrive in Zaragoza from Madrid or Barcelona by train (Zaragoza-Delicias Station). To reach the train station from Madrid airport we recommend that you take a taxi as the subway involves changing lines. To get to the train station in Barcelona you may take a city train (line C10) from the airport. The journey is about 20-25 minutes and trains depart every 30 minutes. The high speed trains AVE (1 hour 15 min) and ALVIA (2 hours) leave Madrid from the Atocha Station and Barcelona from the Barcelona Sants Station. You may check schedules and prices online: www.renfe.es. These trains are very popular and often fully booked. To ensure a seat on the train of your choice, be sure to buy your tickets in advance. If you buy your ticket online make sure that you print out the ticket and bring it with you to the check-in.
By road: Distances from Zaragoza to Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, and Bilbao are around 300 km. There are highways from these cities, free from Madrid and Valencia and toll from Barcelona and Bilbao.
